Mature, multi-layered,dense rosette to 40cm diameter x 30cm. high. Mid-green, pointed leaves tinted purple on the outer foliage.. The erect, scarlet red-bracted inflorescence with purple flowers is comparatively large, rising to 25cm above the foliage. The scape is buried deep in the rosette and with many pointed "paddles" branching from the bottom to the top, all of which lasts for many months. Grex siblings = T. 'Mayan Torch', T. 'Mayan Warrior'.
