Mature, upright, bulbous-based, caulescent rosette to 30cm. diameter x 50cm. high in spike. Recurving, distichous, silvery grey, scurfed leaves, tapering to a point. Erect, frosted, red-stemmed, tightly-branched, ovoid-shaped inflorescence of pointed scarlet floral bracts, green ovaries and purple petals.
