Mature rosette to 14cm. diameter x 10cm. high. Stemless rosette with bulbose base. Leaves silvery white-grey, soft, strongly recurved, slightly undulated shape. They are channeled and the surface is velvet- covered with protruding scales on the underside whilst the upper surface shows adpressed trichomes. The inflorescence does not exceed the foliage but has a short peduncle with a polystichous, pale-salmon bud which bears purple tubular flowers. This hybrid is slimmer and the leaves smoother and straighter than T. pruinosa. The growth habit is –in contrast to T. scaposa - bulbose and the inflorescence has a short peduncle. Reg.
