Mature large rosette to 70 cm diameter x 20 cm high. Scurfed, grey-green leaves 20 cm long and 2 cm wide at the base, tapering to a point. In strong light, foliage can blush bronze red with darker green longitudinal striations. Erect, pink-stemmed, branched spike to 40 cm tall with up to 6 paddles each 17 cm long with carmine pink floral bracts at the base, blending to greenish yellow tips and purple flowers. Distinctive clone of T. fasciculata originally wild-collected in southwestern Costa Rica near the Panama border, between the towns of San Francisco and Progreso, in the late 1970s by Florida grower Steve Correale.
