Spider-like growth and silvery grey leaves similar to T. streptocarpa. Magenta-stemmed rachis 53cm. tall, side branches 10cm. long. fragrant mauve flowers with white throats. The registrant received a batch of seedlings ex Norman Smith (from Levin, New Zealand), labelled "T. streptocarpa". There were obviously different forms in the batch--most turned out to be T. streptocarpa, but others were T. 'Typical Norman'. First flowering in June, 2006. Reg. Doc. 8/2016 by Andrew Flower.
