Mature rosette 12 cm in diameter x 12 cm high and very short caulescent . Laxly-arranged, compact, channeled leaves are strongly recurved and grey-green with few, tiny, adpressed trichomes. The peduncle is slightly curved and clearly exceeds the rosette. The carmine, pink-bracted inflorescence is slender and long . It bears laxly and spirally- arranged dark blue flowers. Reg.
