TILLANDSIA ‘Kirin’ Pacharapong P 2011

Mature, large robust rosette to 50cm. diameter x 50cm. high. Arching, grey-green , channelled leaves, heavily-trichomed at the base but a lighter scurfed green towards the leaf tips. Erect, branched inflorescence to 60cm. tall with scurfed pink bracts and pink flowers like T. streptophylla type. "Kirin" signifies the strong, auspicious Chinese mythology animal with a dragon head having antlers like a deer. Reg. Doc. 05/2016 by P. Pacharapong.
