Mature, bulbous-based rosette to 40cms. diameter x 35cms. high. Scurfed, grey-green, deeply-chanelled, recurving leaves (like a medusa). Erect, green-stemmed, multi-branched spike extends 20cms. above the foliage with green peduncle bracts 7-9cms. long, coral pink /red floral bracts (each 0.8cms. wide) and mauve flowers. Probably a natural hybrid of T. caput-medusae (other parent unknown) wild- collected by the late Gary Hammer in 2009 in Mexico (exact location unrecorded) .
