Blooming rosette is 50 cms. tall and 30 cms wide. Grey-green arching leaves are succulent with fine trichomes and nerved. Erect inflorescence is brick-red with 5-7 upright branches. Paddles are narrow, 1 cm wide x 8-10 cm long with aster-violet petals. Entire inflorescence appears dusty-red as it is covered with dense trichomes. When blooming the rosette center is faintly red.
