Bromeliad Cultivar Register (7954) 2011-05-22

Appears to be a species found in Mexico with links to M. Kellett AU and Matuda. Was going to be described as P. hartwigii but this never happened. Does not seem to link with the other Mexican species. Petals not appendaged, floral bract 1cm long with a few hairs, sepals 2.5cm long,symmetrical. Pedicel 2mm.
