Small extremely symmetrical layered and stacked wide leaved 'Meyendorffii' type rosette duplicating the form and appearance of a rose perfectly - a most outstanding plant - red leaves w/prominent apiculate points on blunt tipped leaves - covered w/tiny yellow dots. Advice from Lisa Vinzant, Hawaii, Aug 2006 that this plant is the same as 'Lokelani' and is a corruption of the meaning of 'Lokelani'. See 'Bromeliads-A Guide to the beautiful Neoregelia by Zaghini,1994, p.15 for wrongly named cultivar.
