NEOREGELIA ‘Red Lines’ Butcher, D.* ?

Mature rosette up to 50cm. diameter. Not to be confused with 'Rosea Striata' which is a form of farinosa. The name 'Rosea Striata' seems to have been used for any medium sized neoregelia which reddens in the centre and has red striations on the leaves. This new name is given for those who may have erroneously considered that their 'Rosea Striata' was in fact a Neo. farinosa! This plant may even have links with N. 'Burbank' but this cannot be proved. Don't forget N. 'Roseo Lineata' either which also links more to N. carolinae. Reg. Doc. 12/2006 by D Butcher.
