Huge mature, open rosette up to 1-1/2 to 2 metres diameter by 1 metre high. Variable according to culture and climate. Can appear as russett red / brick red foliage with extensive lime green small / large spotting, moreso towards the centre, in strong light. Leaves are stiffer, comparatively narrower and more upright than N. 'Captain Ahab'. Grex siblings = N. 'Captain Ahab', 'Starbuck'.
