This cultivar was registered in 1979. In the 1991 Preliminary Listing this name appeared as well as 'Silverado'. In the 1998 Register the name 'Grande Silverado' disappeared but 'Silverado' was shown with the parents of 'Grande Silverado'. No explanation given but there must be a connection somewhere!
