NEOREGELIA ‘Repton Dazzler’ | Tristram, Peter | circa 2002
Mature, open, large rosette to 1 metre diameter. In strong light, arching, broad (to 10cm. wide) coral red leaves boldly spotted yellow with dark brown spines, red sepals and white flowers. Outer, older leaf portions can become more solid bronzed red. The seed parent is also greenish red with yellow spots and came to the breeder from Sydney grower Nina Rehak (possibly raised from Brazilian seed) in the late 1990s as N. acanthocrater, which is an old synonym of N. concentrica, a species which does not seem evident in this cultivar. Reg. Doc. 10/2019. Country of origin: N.S.W. Australia
