NEOREGELIA ‘Yellow Lines’ ? / G Lawn* <1998

Mature open large rosette to 1 metre diameter. Broad, mid-green leaves randomly striated / marginated yellow with scarlet red patches / splashes/ speckles, plus red tips in strong light. Exported about 2001 from Florida to the Olive Branch Nursery, Brisbane as "Neoregelia johannis striata". It's complete history is unrecorded but over the years it has acquired other alias names---"Golden Glow", "Yellow Striated", "johannis Gold", "Yellow Variegated", "That's Gold", "johannis Yellow Form Variegated". It's possible link to N. johannis remains unproven. Tricolor Group. Reg. Doc. 6/2016 by G. Lawn.
