NEOREGELIA ‘Leopard Shark’ ? / Eloise Beach* ?

Mature large rosette to 75cm. diameter. Leaf width 9cm. Black-spined, sepia "fingernails".,leathery, bronze green leaves spotted, splotched and sometimes cross-banded red/ black form of reputedly N. 'Rainbow Carcharodon' which was donated to a BSI WBC Rare Plant Auction as a very special clone. The plant winner Paul Deroose couldn't pinpoint the year and its entry in available past auction records could not be found. Therefore the auction plant donor and the plant's origin remain a mystery. It was being cultivated in Florida some years before 2012 when it had limited release at WBC Orlando, Florida. Reg. Doc. 5/2016 by Eloise Beach
