NEOREGELIA ‘Roseo Lineata’ ? / Graeme Barclay* 1980s

Mature open rosette to 80cm. diameter. In strong light, relatively-narrow, ligulate llime green/ bronzed glossy leaves with fine red lineations on both the obverse and reverse foliage. At blooming, the foliage flattens and the centre turns dark red. This cultivar is of unknown parentage and origin but has been circulating under this name in Florida and New Zealand since 1980's. Possibly linked to N. carolinae but appears different to N. 'Red Lines' and N. 'Rosea Striata' . Reg. Doc. 2/2016 by Graeme Barclay.
