DYCKIA ‘Tuatara’ Q Dyckia / Andrew Devonshire* 2014

Mature rosette to 20cm.diameter. In strong light, recurving dark chocolate brown leaves with large white retrorse spines. Foliage reverse is scurfed silvery white. Seed supplied from Thailand but raised by A Devonshire in New Zealand. The Maori name "Tuatara" means "peaks on the back", referring to a reptile endemic to New Zealand. Reg.
