CRYPTANTHUS ‘Tamarind’ Roongsutthatham,M 2018

Mature open, round, large rosette to 45 cm. diameter x 7 cm. high. Broad, medium-undulation with kink-edged, oblanceolate leaves which extend to 4.5 cm. wide at axis and 7cm. at the widest point.. Densely-serrated and with small brown spines, the central blade portion is scurfed mid-green and with outer edges brown. Near the centre is slight silvery grey cross banding, channeled in profile and the leaf tips curl under. In bright light, the foliage turns more solid russet brown. At blooming, the central, exserted flower cluster is white. Offsets emerge from the leaf axils.The foliage reverse is typically frosted silvery white. Reg. Doc. 11/2020.
