cv. of unknown parentage - (syn. 'Fudge Ripple'?) - Medium, deep black w/distinct grey bands - Laroche said, "Similar to 'Black Mystic' but rounder". Note Crypt Soc Journal 2(1): 24. 1987 shows that a Michael Allan Spencer wrote, after consulting Mulford's widow Racine Foster:
"Mr. Foster's notes on his Cryptanthus crosses are rather poor. Unfortunately, he names them, but gives no parentage, or gives the parentage and no name. The two plants listed as 'Bonita' and 'Bonnie' in the supplement on registration are completely unknown to both Mrs. Foster and myself. Could they be from Bert (Foster--their son)? There is no mention of them in Mr. (Mulford) Foster's notes or files, at least those that Mrs. (Racine) Foster and I have seen. "
