cv. of vittata X pyramidalis(?) amoena(?) - (See 'Olive Wills') - Ferris said, "Hardy hybrid - silver bands on green leaves forming a loose tube w/arching leaf tips - becomes purplish in good light - vittata type inflorescence of rose-red bracts and blue flowers" - Photo by Butcher shows mostly 100% vittata but w/minute floral bracts - upright apiculate grey-green blunt leaves.
