BILLBERGIA ‘Norm Merrigan’ Aizlewood, Greg 2004

Mature, tubular rosette to 40cm. high x 6cm. diameter. Stiff, small-spined, leaves in shades of green / tan / pink, spotted cream and slight silver cross-banding towards the base. Erect spike with rose pink scape bracts, lime green ovaries and sepals with navy blue flowers. Grex siblings = B. 'Squirrel', B. 'Trevor Chitty'., B. Norwell. Named in remembrance of fellow 20th. RAAF Engineering Apprentice Intake (Squirrels 1966). Reg. Doc. 8/2020.
