Bulbous-based, tubular rosette to 63 cm high, flaring at the top. About 11 tan / green, black-spined leaves (each to 7cm. wide) spotted yellow. The foliage reverse has light silver cross-banding and a kink half way up each leaf. The semi-pendent inflorescence has scarlet red scape bracts, green ovaries, light green sepals tipped purple and recoiled green petals tipped purple. Reg. Doc. 2/2016.
