Mature tubular rosette to 65cms. tall x 5 cms. wide. Spiny, coppery green leaves with random cream spotting and silver cross-banding. The arching spike has scarlet scape bracts, peach ovaries, pink sepals and violet flowers/stigma. Named in remembrance of a fellow 20th. RAAF Engineering Apprentice Intake (Squirrels 1966).
