Mature bulbous-based rosette to 35cm. diameter x 65cm. tall in bloom. Long, recurving and wavy, scurfed, grey-green leaves, descending and tapering to a point. Erect inflorescence with 6-7 frosted, pink-bracted, sword-shaped spikes with violet-petalled, tubular flowers.
