Stately lime green to mid green urn-shaped rosette to 60cm. diameter with leaves to 60cm long.. Leaves have a broad oval base with linear blades and are armed with small black spines. The red-stermmed inflorescence reaches 2 metres high by 75cm wide with open multi-branching. Flowers are well spaced with prominent red sepals below the pale yellow slightly twisted petals. Set berries are mid to ink blue at maturity . This cultivar was specifically bred as a hardy landscape feature plant and prefers full sun to bright light all day in Queensland coastal conditions.
