Mature rosette to 45cms. diameter x 35 cms. high. Scurfed, narrow, grey-green leaves radiating out in a ball-like configuration. Centrally crested flowered form with salmon pink bracts in the shape of peacock's feather eye. The fully mature inflorescence extends up to 5 cms. high.. A natural mutation of T hammeri which has stabilised and flowered true over several life cycles. Wild-collected by Gary Hammer in Mexico, exact locality unknown. Reg.
