BILLBERGIA ‘Spider’ ? / E Gouda * ?

Mature tubular, upright rosette to 45cm. tall, flaring at the top. Mid-green, lightly-spined leaves with some pale cream spotting. Arching / semi-pendant spike of bright, salmon pink scape bracts, frosted brown ovaries and sepals plus mid-green, recurved, petals edged navy blue. Received by the Utrecht University Botanic Gardens (Netherlands) as Billbergia saundersii but it is clearly a B. nutans hybrid. Breeder and origin unknown. Reg. Doc. 11/2016 by Eric Gouda.
