CRYPTANTHUS ‘Jamilla’ Weston, Dave circa 2018

Mature, open large rosette to 40-50cm diameter of a radial, round symmetry. Foliage is 10-12 wavy leaves per rosette, tapering to narrow / long lanceolate shape 4-6cm. wide. Margins are finely serrated with small dense spines. Initially growth is upright but flattens with maturity. Leaf blades have pronounced crenulations and base colours is dark brown tending to black with pronounced broken and irregular silvery white cross-banding. The foliage reverse has a dense layer of trichomes giving a whitish grey appearance. At blooming is a central cluster of white non-fragrant flowers. Offsets are produced both basaly and from the leaf axils Reg. Doc. 2/2022
