Mature, funnel-form, open rosette to 70cms. high x 36cms. diameter, stubby at base---20cms. across. Grey-green, heavily-scurfed leaves which become quite purple in strong light to full sun. Broad, silver crossbands are more pronounced in the juvenile stage. Erect, woolly pink-stemmed, branched spike to 1 metre tall with powdery rose pink scape bracts, light yellow sepals and creamy white flowers.
