Genus: xHohenmeaxHohenmea is a bigeneric nothogenus between Hohenbergia and Aechmea within subfamily Bromelioideae. The genus currently comprizes one only accepted taxon, xHohenmea itaipuana, which is a natural hybrid of Aechmea ramosa and Hohenbergia augusta.Number of accepted species in this genus is 1 (source: species counts in the Encyclopaedia of Bromeliads). |
