Genus: Racinaea

Racinaea is a genus of the subfamily Tillandsioideae. The genus is named for Racine Foster, wife of Mulford B. Foster who was co-founder of the BSI. Species grow mainly as epiphytes from the Caribbean, Central America and most northern and eastern South Americian countries.
