Genus: Navia

Navia is a genus of the subfamily Pitcairnioideae. Described as early as 1830 in Guyana, all species are native to the South American Guyana Sheild and Tepuis regions (Guyana, Suriname, Venezuela, Colombia, northern Brazil). They mainly grow as terrestrials and lithophytes.
