[GrowRR] Guzmania bismarkii

George,
    I have a Guzmania bizmarkii in spike right now.   I've grown it for 
years.   Not fussy at all, even in Ohio (I do have a greenhouse, but give it no 
special care at all).  It does get big.   For me, that's about 4 feet across, and 
the bloom is now 8 foot tall and the first flower hasn't even opened yet!   
The foilage is strikingly barred.   A very nice plant that is MUCH MUCH easier 
than Guzmania lindenii (which it looks similar to) to grow.
