Anytime that large files are involved (especially if they may be of 
limited interest to the entire group), it is best to upload them 
somewhere and provide the link in the email. Those who wish to access 
the file can do so with a simple click. Those who are not interested are 
not inconvenienced by having to download a large attachment with their 
email. Those of us with broadband connections often forget that there 
are still those out there using 56KB modems to connect to the Internet.

Nice article on growing broms from seed (something I've dabbled in 
occasionally). See if you get any feedback on the text. I encourage you 
  to title the final version and add a byline to it. I'd be interested 
in adding it to the Growing Bromeliads section of the BSI website.
