[GrowRR] MOSQUITOES IN BROMS

Hi,
There is a liquid form of BT called Gnatrol. I can only find it in 5
gallon quantities but it's useful life is better than a year. It is very
easy to use. Simply add the proper amount to your sprayer, add water and
you're ready to go. I have all my plants outdoors and spray about once a
month. The key is to break the life cycle of the mosquito. Once that is
achieved then it really is a question of maintenance. Another trick I
tried for my larger plants eg. Alcanterea imperialis was placing
gambusia or 'Mosquito Fish' in the tanks. This worked as well but a
rather limited life for the fish.
Well I hope this helps and good luck with the never ending mossie battle!
Aloha,
Rusty Luthe
