[GrowRR] MOSQUITOES IN BROMS

I have found that it is more effective to purchase the Bt i in granular
form. I pour half a cup into a lidded container, add water, close the lid
(because the stuff gets a somewhat bad smell) and let it soak for two days
in the cool place. Then, I strain the concoction and pour it into a
3-gallon garden sprayer, add more water, and spray all of my bromeliads. I
do this about every 2 weeks during the summer. I also use two mosquito
magnets in my yard. Manny Lorenzo

Bacillus thuriengensis israeliensis - sold as mosquito dunks at Home Depot
and garden centers. Just crumble some of it into the middle of the
bromeliads - it is not harmful to anything other than mosquito larvae.
