Hello!
My growing area is in an East Southeast window. Mostly orchids, but with a
couple Tillandsia ionantha, T. cyanea, and a couple unknown Tillandsia, a
Vresia 'Tiffany', Cryptanthus zonatus (I think), and a Billbergia nutans.
All the Tills, except T. cyanea , are soaked in a bucket of the same
fertilizer I give my orchids, once or twice a week. The others are fed less often,
but at the same rate - 1/4 tsp. per gallon.
The various T. ionantha clones all flower, along with the Billbergia.
Everything else just grows, except T. cyanea, which is just hanging on. :-( I
have tried growing this plant several times over the years without any long
term success.
I don't usually put any of my plants outside for the summer due to lack of
space and too many squirrels - hate the buggers!
