How often (and what dilution strength) do you fertilize your bromeliads?

Thanks for the responses.
Bruce's answer seems best (or most diplomatic).
If there is a consensus, it seems that it can be ignored and still get
attractive plants.
The plant I damage most by 'over'-fertilization is Billbergia pyramidalis.
(I use this as my indicator to tell me when to back off.)
But I can get faster and larger growth on pups with dilute (0.25 tsp/gall)
once a week. May not be your regime, but does anyone see some harm
down the road with this?
My plants are outside now and receive lots of rain here in Louisiana. Can I
water (not fert) every day during the summer or am I going to create problems?
Thanks again,
Frank
