Do not despair. Rebuilding takes time. From what we hear in the world 
outside the USA, little has been done to rebuild New Orleans but that could 
well be Media hype. But the resilience of the locals will win through. Your 
comment on the lack of democracy at club level is one that crops up from 
time to time in any group. It is just that you quietly work towards 
changing the situation. It is a problem only your local people can solve.
So chin up, Rome was not built in a day.
