Barret Bassick has come up with 'Hair pups' as a term used in California
for those seedling-like offsets you sometimes see in saxicolous Tillandsias
etc. It has yet to be used in the Journal Brom. Soc so it may be localised
in California. Has anyone else come across this term? It may be more
accurate to call them grass pups but I would be intrigued as to what others
may call them The Germans use a term similar to kindel sprossen (Germans
please excuse my German!) which I translate to be baby offset.
