[GrowRR] Mealybugs??

Noreen,

I have been successful with using a weak solution of Simple Greenin a spray bottle followed by a strong rinse with fresh water from the hose.  The Simple Green keeps the mealybugs from clinging to the plant.  The water just washes them and the soap off.

  My area seems to have a bad problem with mealy bugs this year.  My bromeliads, thank goodness, do not have it yet....but I've noticed it beginning on my roses.  We use pretty much only organics, although am willing to go further if need be.  Tried safer, doesn't do it.  
   Our neighbors have tried chemical insecticides that list Mealybugs, but without results.  Any suggestions????
