Just a warning to purchasers of Bromeliads from Ebay.
I have already crossed swords with an advertiser who was quite blase about
changing names to sell a 'new' cultivar. The latest is an Aechmea 'Frosty
Blue' advertised by an Adolfo Sardi and is not the first by the same
person. All I know is that the cultivar name is not on the Registry and if
you are a discerning bromeliad grower you should take care. Someone may
know the gentleman concerned and point out that his actions are being
watched and we would love him to be open with his transactions. He could be
legitimate in his honest dealings but as you know, I am a Doubting Thomas.
Irresponsible action can reflect on the honest dealers with catalogues.
