Hi,
I'll like to understand the difference in tillandsia with roots and without roots. Usually when i get tillandsia i'll try to get those that have live roots so that they can root to the moulting media easier. In any case if live roots isn't present i'll still get them without roots.
Now my question is is there a difference in growing with and without roots? Will ther be difference in growth rate, photosynthesis rate, nutrient uptake,etc...
Does smaller plants root easier then larger plants? I've plants that can root pretty quickly in my tank. I usually buy smaller plants because they root faster then larger plants which might never root at all.(correct me if i'm wrong)
Does most tillandsia need a drastic fluctuation of temperature from day to night and vise versa to actually induce them to produce inflorence? The temp. here in Singapore is usually pretty constant all year round.
I"ll like to hear everybodies view on this, thanks alot!

Regards,
Benetay.
